Alcidion Group Limited (ASX: ALC) announced it has signed a 3-year deal worth over $389k with Monash Health for a Mobile task management solution. The contract provides an option for two additional 1-year extensions, which if invoked, would increase the contract value to $500k.
The key solutions that Alcidion target are:
- Miya ED – a set of clinical dashboards & ED whiteboards for Emergency Medicine.
- Miya Patient Flow – a e-health guidance system that shares information about the status of each patient.
- Miya Revenue & Reimbursement – reduces revenue leakage for complex patients and improves safety.
- Smartpage – modern clinical messaging systems to improve communication. Smartpage replaces hospital pagers.

The after-hours mobile task management solution went live at the Monash Medical Centre and Monash Children’s Hospital on Tuesday 13 March, with the installation running smoothly and completed on time and on budget. Rollout to the remainder of the Monash Health public hospitals is planned within the coming year.
Alcidion is taking a leading role in the new digital health economy with the Miya technology. It focuses on data consolidation, clinical risk management, efficiency and productivity.
The Miya platform is now installed in 15 large tertiary hospitals around Australia. They include: Footscray, Sunshine, Williamstown, Royal Darwin & Alice Springs Hospitals, as well as throughout Tasmania. New Zealand has also deployed the Miya platform at the MidCentral District Health Board, with the value of the contract being NZ$1.6 million and has a 5-year term.
