Global Health

Established in 1985 as a software house in Perth and trading as Working Systems, Global Health has now become one of Australia’s most experienced and longest established company in developing software applications for the healthcare industry.

Working Systems then merged with Grant Thornton Management Consulting (WA) in 2000. It specialized in eHeath, eBusiness and eLearning.

Global Health was formed in 2008 refocusing its products and services exclusively for the health care industry.

Replacing the need for paper-based processes with electronic systems, Global Health can now: enhance patient care, reduce time and cost, reduce health risks, record comprehensive patient information, streamline workflow and enables secure sharing of patient information.

Global Health is a member of the Medical Software Industry Association (MSIA) and support the Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA).

Their products include:

  • MasterCare – Electronic Medical Record (EMR) helping manage patients, billing and clinical records.
  • PrimaryClinic – Medical and practice software for healthcare professionals.
  • ReferralNet – Secure Message Delivery (SMD) system helping to exchange confidential clinical and patient information.
  • Lifecard – Secure way to record your health summary.
  • HotHealth – A ‘Click and edit” template to help create a customized website for practices.

A 25% growth for the six months to December 2017 has resulted in Global Health’s operating revenue of $3.19M.

MasterCare and PrimaryClinic on-premises software applications continued to grow across the acute and community sectors of healthcare.

Global Health will be supplying their platforms to the ASEAN market increasing their potential reach from 25 million Australians to over 600 million people across the ASEAN countries.
